2020 COVID-19 Policies & Procedures Benchmarking Compilations

These compilations include a list of policies, procedures, action plans and resources. All the documents included in this compilation have been submitted by members of MAPP (Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors), AMBA (American Mold Builders Association) and ARPM (Association of Rubber Products Manufacturers). By gathering resources from various manufacturing industries, there is a greater pool of knowledge from which the team was able to pull.

The documents in this compilation have been organized by type, which include:

  • Internal Communications, such as memos, policies for cleaning, working from home, traveling, PTO, etc.
  • External Communications, such as letters to customers and suppliers or visitor communication
  • Infectious Disease Action Plans, including checklists and action plans already in place in case of an outbreak of any kind
  • Outside Resources Shared with Employees, such as CDC flyers, hand washing instructions, and presentations

To accommodate the changing needs of members, two additional compilations are being offered - one includes work from home policies and the other provides policy guides related to how to handle positive employee tests.

Although AMBA has not yet gathered "return-to-work" policies, Benesch Law has provided an article for companies as they begin to return to work and cultivate new policies: Guidance on Returning to Normal Operations

It is important to keep in mind that these are all working documents and the benchmarking team will continue to update and add changes and new policies as they are received.

Lastly, we have received an "Employee-in-Transit" letter example that can be utilized by essential employees and personalized to your company. View it here.

If you have questions, want to add to any of these documents or need additional assistance, please contact the AMBA office directly at 317.436.3102 or email info@amba.org.
