This event provides attendees with firm and applicable leadership skills, access to meaningful networking and problem-solving and connection opportunities with industry mentors for long-lasting growth and development.

Through the 2020 Leadership Experience, attendees will engage in peer relationship building, cohesive and effective team building and the building and maintenance of trust and confidence.

PROGRAMMING

Breaking Down Barriers to Leadership

During this year's Leadership Experience, attendees will be coached through why leadership is not a passive skill, but one that must be actively pursued and cultivated through experience, professional development and strategic communication.

Through guided coaching and deep-dive exploration, attendees will learn what strategic tools are required to influence and motivate all levels of management within an ever-evolving work culture.

Attendee takeaways will include:

  • The important role culture plays in team development, effective management strategies and bottom-line impact
  • Strategic methods and communication strategies to influence peers and decision-makers across all levels
  • Understanding how to ask and get what you want within your organization and how careful communication can help you affect and achieve specific company objectives and personal goals
  • How aligning one's natural personality traits and professional strengths with company objectives can produce a higher retention of top talent, increased productivity, improved communication and a more engaged, less-stressed workforce

Peer Ignite Sessions

Attendees will participate in "pop-up" sessions during a new breakout format, Peer Ignite Sessions, where attendees will share failures and successes through short, 15-minute stand-up presentations. This provides a direct path for attendees to further develop key leadership skills while sharing challenges, solutions and takeaways with peers.

Interested in taking a step towards further leadership growth? Email us your name, company, job title and suggested topic to be considered as a pop-up speaker. Topics should encompass a success or failure that you and/or your company has experienced related to communication, leadership and/or culture development.

Personalized Implementation Plan

Encompassed with this immersive event is the opportunity for every attendee to develop an actionable implementation plan, where participants will answer the question, "What do you plan to do differently today so that you can implement change tomorrow?", allowing attendees to return to their facilities invigorated with actionable ideas that will allow them to bring immediate value to their organization.

Cohort Accountability

This year, attendees will be paired with a peer cohort that they will connect with before, during and after this experience. With guidance from your cohort, each manufacturing professional will be able to start and continue the conversations that will hold one another accountable, enable the sharing of new ideas and best practices and provide a resource to tackle future roadblocks.
