M-Hub Questions
I recently got an RFQ email from M-Hub. Seems it is a plastics sourcing app based out of Italy. Just wondered if anyone else has worked with them before. I never signed up with them and am cautious about opening anything from an unknown source.

Re: Attendance Policies
Hi Micheal. Just saw this. We also don't have a complicated policy. We try to be as flexible as possible. We communicate the expected hours per week and expect everybody to be here by 7:30 for day shift. When someone proves to be consistently out of line we have a meeting with them privately. I will...

Mold-Die 3 axis machines
We are looking at purchasing another 3 axis mill. I have kind of narrowed my choices to Okuma Genos 560, Makino F8, or DMG-Mori NVX 7000. Does anyone have experience with any of these that you would be able to talk to me about? Either pro or con.

Night Shift Questions
Just reaching out for some ideas on getting employees to work the night shift. We only run a skeleton shift but it is necessary to keep our projects on track and get more utilization out of our machines. We have had a night shift for years and have worked with the policy that all new hires have to s...

Re: Large Core Needed
Hi Andy.
It's possible but there is an issue with the translation. It came in at .160 diameter at the base.

California Sales Tax
We have a few customers in California. We recently received a letter saying that we have to start charging sales tax on tooling we sell to California companies. Does anyone else have experience with this? We have never had to charge sales tax before on tooling. How much of a process is it? Larry Pat...
