During this peer networking session, CNC operators and related positions will discuss best practices, evolving technologies and more. Attendees are asked to submit questions related to their functional area for peer discussion. Suggested areas of focus could include: 

  • 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing - Utilization and Growth
  • Automation - Strategies and Recent Investments
  • CAD/CAM - Current Programs Used? Challenges? Training Needs/Strategies?
  • Cutters/Processes
  • Fixturing Strategies
  • Scheduling Strategies - Impact on Workflow, Current Challenges, Recent Changes
  • Set-Up Strategies
  • Training - Best Practices and Strategies
  • Tool Pockets
  • New Tooling and Techniques - How to Embrace? Recent Advancements?
  • New Machines and Technology - How to Explore / Justify New Investment?
  • Work Holding - Existing Challenges/Game Changing Strategies

Meetings will continue to occur on the second Thursday every other month until the end of the year. Interested parties must register and submit 1-2 questions for each individual meeting. 

Cost: Included in membership. This series is open only to AMBA members.
