AMBA's Emerging Leaders will once again convene for a three-hour pre-conference session during AMBA Conference 2023. Forty-ish and under up-and-coming leaders are invited to join their AMBA peers and leadership coach and author, Matt Lesser, for a facilitated session on delegation, empowerment and growth.

A Roadmap to Leadership – Delegation, Empowerment and Growth

Leadership, at its core, is investing in people so that they can then become leaders themselves. During this workshop, attendees will investigate two principles of guidance in leadership that are often overlooked, and yet, are critical to this mission: delegation and performance optimization.
By understanding the why, who, when, how and what of delegation, attendees will be better equipped to optimize both team member performance and their own. Through small group discussion, practical application and engaging exercises, attendees will walk away with an understanding of the strategies, methodologies and principles that will help them impact and improve everyday management scenarios, such as performance reviews, effective communication, feedback and more.
