Financial Literacy Series: Understanding Financial Statements (Part 1)

  📅 Add to calendar

Financial statements can tell a story of how one's business is performing, its health and to what warning signs owners and management teams should be paying attention. To understand business health, many company professionals use the income statement exclusively; however, there are actually three financial statements that work together to reveal the true picture of business performance; income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.

Without all three of these statements, owners and their management teams are operating with incomplete information, which can lead to inaccurate decision making. In this session, presented by Todd Rammler, Michigan CFO, attendees will learn what these three statements communicate to the reader, how to structure the statements to make them more useable and how they be used together to clarify business performance and to improve decision making.

Join this continuation of AMBA's Financial Literacy Series, which helps owners and their management teams better understand their financials to reduce costs, increase profitability, prepare for challenges and improve business performance. This series is provided by industry professionals and AMBA partners, including Wipfli and Michigan CFO Associates.
