Omar Nashashibi with The Franklin Partnership (AMBA’s Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm) will provide an update on the state of the U.S.-China trade relationship, including the latest on the enforcement of the plastic injection mold tariffs on Chinese imports and how Beijing is living up to its commitments under the Phase I trade agreement. The presentation also will provide members with the latest information on COVID-19 legislation on which the AMBA is lobbying, and what Congress may include in its latest installment to support businesses.

COVID-19 Crisis – Impact and Recovery of the Mold Manufacturing Industry
Mold manufacturers have been managing the COVID-19 crisis for more than two months. Now what? During this webinar, Laurie Harbour with Harbour Results, Inc. will share the results from its monthly COVID-19 impact study (April and May), which provides a snapshot of how manufacturing has been affected and best practices for recovery. Additionally, Harbour will present an industry forecast that provides a glimpse of what the “new normal” will look like and how it will impact shops.
