Foreign competition is one of the biggest challenges that manufacturers face today. For this reason, the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAAF) program - a federally funded program - has been designed to help American manufacturers battling foreign competition develop, implement and pay for business improvement projects and improve their competitive advantage.
During this webinar, attendees will hear from Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (GLTAAC) representatives Scott Jacobs and Jani Hatchett. Together, they will outline the number of ways that American mold manufacturers have utilized project funding through TAAF to gain ground and strategically grow their operations. Jacobs and Hatchett also will outline the application process and highlight case studies of mold manufacturers who have utilized GLTAAC’s resources to impact growth within their organizations and achieve a positive ROI.

About GLTAAC
Since 1984, GLTAAC has assisted hundreds of small, import-injured manufacturers via the TAAF program. GLTAAC clients receive up to $75,000 in federal matching funds to undertake projects they deem critical to their success. GLTAAC administers this program in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio; however, members in other states also have access to programs that are similarly funded through the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
